CHANEL turns up the drama with Glamour Magazine in BLUE RHYTHM DE CHANEL and
RC Stephens, CHANEL National Artist

blue rhythm de chanel
Inspired by the spirit of jazz, this makeup collection celebrates the boldness of blue. In the spotlight: a new plumping gloss for high-shine lips and daring eye shades to turn up the drama.
Make up by RC Stephens
RC Stephens, CHANEL National Artist, applies Blue Rhythm with a soft natural touch. Yep, blue can be natural.
At Glamour magazine's Blue Rhythm event hosted by CHANEL at Bloomingdale’s in South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa CA.
RC used Blue Rhythm shadows with two eyeliners, Marine pencil and liquid. Along with a cream blush stick, cream eye shadow as a base, and plumping lip gloss. BTW the gloss is a must have!

How to do it yourself
Laura West, CHANEL Skincare and Makeup Expert, gives advice and samples of Le Lift eye cream to client Kathy Crozer of Huntington Beach, CA.
Use Le Lift firming and anti aging eye cream in the morning before applying eye make up to moisturize and prevent eye makeup from running. If you're wondering why your mascara is running it's your eye cream!
Dot cream under your eye then move in a circular motion only around the ocular cavity, do not apply to lashes or eye lid in the morning. Use Sublimage La Creme at night before bed and feel free to apply all over the eye only at night.

Another day time look in under 5 minutes
RC Stephens recommends leveraging basics from the Blue Rhythm collection into a quick and easy daily look by using Les Beiges Stick Blush, Eye shadow cream in Melody, Rouge Coco lipstick in Suzanne, and plumping lip gloss (all natural ingredients like pepper are used to safely plump lips and minimize wrinkles).
The lipstick appears dark but goes on much softer for an enhanced yet natural look. This picture is without any filter, the makeup looks that good on it own! I did this myself with the advice of RC.

what to wear
Wondering what to wear to an event like this...black of course! Coco Chanel is known for her classic black and white fashions. Today I paired a simple red dress from Zara, $70, and Chanel jewelry costume pieces. I even made my own flower by gluing magnets to the back of the paper flower they stick to the Chanel bag when you make a purchase, next time ask for an extra flower to and make your own pin, that tip will save you $300 bucks.
